First off, a friend of mom's let us borrow this cute little pony, Button. She was the sweetest little thing and allowed the Cade and Chloe to do anything and everything they wanted with her. She was very patient! The kids enjoyed her immensely, especially little Chloe who we could not get to share the pony! We had a little rodeo session when Button took off towards the barn with Chloe on her back! Chloe held on like a pro! She's my little cowgirl!
Cade was a little more apprehensive with Button, however. He was more comfortable with just leading her around by the halter. Maybe next time he'll be ready to have his own little rodeo!
Don't cringe! I have no makeup on! This is Spanky, my mom's newest barrel horse. He's so much fun!
Kevin bought the kids a couple of $1.00 kites at Wal-Mart. Who knew but they were a HUGE hit at moms. There is always a breeze at her house so kite flying is the best! Thanks Kevin...$2.00 provided an afternoon of fun!
We went fishing the last day we were there. We didn't catch anything but the kids and dogs sure had a blast. We are planning another trip for Memorial Day weekend with my grandparents! We can't wait!
